By properly interrogating its pages, the reader can gain wisdom that enables them to predict and counter the strategies of renegades and traitors before their schemes come to fruition. Over the centuries, the Liber Heresius has become incredibly unwieldly, as each new wielder scribles his own notes into its margins.{{Fn|2a2b}}
