The '''Trident''' was a a group of three [[Warsmith]]s of formation within the [[Iron Warriors]] [[Legion]] who served as part . It consisted of the retinue of the three Triarchs, senior Legionaries (usually [[PrimarchWarsmith]] s) who served as [[Perturabo]]. Each member, known as a '''Triarch''', served as Perturabo's adviser advisers in military matters. There could only be three members at a time, and while death was the common way out as part of the Trident, his retinue. Triarchs served until they died or lost Perturabo also reserved the right to strip a Triarch of his post's confidence.{{Fn|1}}
