The '''Aspiring Champion''' of a [[Chaos Space marineMarine]] squad is a lader the leader for the that unit. He has battlefield experience, and is able to work his squad into a frenzy before a battle, so that they may slaughter and maim more effeciantly. A Champion likely has goals of his own, such as being a [[Chaos Lord|Lord]]. Any Aspiring Champion who's pledged himself to a [[Chaos God]] is considered worthy enough to be posessed by that God's [[Greater Daemon]], having shown dedication in faith and dedication in combat.
