Piloting the '''Hawk’s Duty''', he fought beside a strike force from the [[Howling Griffons]] [[Chapter]] and became impressed with the [[Space Marines]] duty and diligence. When [[Huron Blackheart]] escaped near the end of the war, the strike force took an oath that they would hunt down the Tyrant and Sir Torjef was driven to do the same: vowing to remain with the Howling Griffons until the traitor was killed.{{Fn|1}}
