'''Knight Paladins''' are the most common model of [[Imperial]] [[Knight]] walkers. The Knight Paladin can undertake a wide variety of roles in battle. Its long-range [[Battle Cannon]] gives it the capacity to provide fire support when needed. However, while a Paladin excels in this role, it is even more suited to close assault thanks to its giant [[Chainsword]] and all-terrain capability. These qualities also make Paladins not only effective at destroying large vehicles but also slaying monsters such as those fielded by the [[Tyranid]]s. For protection from enemy fire, the Knight Paladin can rely on powerful [[Ion Shield]]s. For secondary weapons the Knight Paladin is equipped with two [[Heavy Stubber]]s, one co-axially mounted with the Battle Cannon and the other in a swivel mount on its left chest.{{Fn|1}}
