The '''Imperator Somnium''' was a warship that served as the flagship of the [[Emperor]] during the latter stages of the [[Great Crusade]]. A unique, golden vessel of immense size, it dwarfed even Imperial [[battleships]] in both size and firepower{{Fn|1}}, and its mass was sufficient to alter planetary tidal patterns from orbit{{Fn|2}}. In addition to its crew complement, it carried a complement of the Emperor's bodyguard, the [[Adeptus Custodes]].
