When a [[Space Hulk]] materlized out of the [[Warp]], {{PAGENAME}} led his Chapter in investigating it and discovered that elements of the Warband known as [[The Cleaved]], were infesting it. The two sides soon clashed, but the battle was won by the Dark Angels, when {{PAGENAME}} manually triggered cyclonic charges that destroyed the Hulk's engine rooms; though it was at the cost of the Supreme Grand Master's life, as he was killed in the explosion.{{Fn|1}}
