Sor Talgron later known as The Warmonger was a member of the Word Bearers.1
History
Born on Colchis and originally commanding the 34th Company, Talgron was a member of the Perpetual Spiral Chapter. Talgron was one of the few of the Word Bearers at the time who did not worship the Emperor as a god. On his Primarch Lorgar's orders, Talgron led the massacre of the inhabitants of Forty-Seven Sixteen. Shortly after Talgron and the 34th Company were dispatched to Terra to commit acts of sabotage by Lorgar, who had since turned to Chaos. Most notable of these was the placing of special beacons that would isolate Terra and the Astronomican from the rest of the wider Imperium. Talgron left Terra shortly after, commanding Word Bearer forces in the Shadow Crusade where he was badly wounded but subsequently revived as a part-bionic part-Warp powered abomination with a human face. After his resurrection, Talgron finally embraced the Ruinous Powers and became a Dark Apostle. He was badly wounded once more during the Heresy at the Battle of Terra and subsequently had his remains entombed in a Dreadnought.1
After the Heresy, Talgron became a feared Chaos Dreadnought known as The Warmonger. Due to his formidable mental power, he is the only Dreadnought on the Word Bearer Ship Infidus Diablous who had retained some of his sanity, though he often remembers The Siege while in the heat of battle.2 He was killed during the Battle for Boros Prime when he attempted to kill The Undying One, the Necron Lord's death explosion killing the already wounded Warmonger.3 His shell was later inhabited by Burias Drak'Shal.34
