'''Revuel Arvida''' was a [[Space Marine Sergeant|Sergeant]] of the 4th [[Chapter|Fellowship]] of the [[Thousand Sons]] [[Space Marine Legion]] during the latter stages of the [[Great Crusade]] and the onset of the [[Horus Heresy]]. A member of the [[Corvidae]], he was part of a fleet element of his legion that was dispersed under secret orders by [[Magnus the Red]] prior to the [[Battle of Prospero]]. Approximately six months later he returned to Prospero under the command of his Fellowship [[Space Marine Captain|Captain]], [[Menes Kalliston]], in an attempt to discover the fate of the other Thousand Sons.{{Fn|1}}

*Revuel Arvida is a contributing source to the [[Blood Ravens]]/Thousand Sons origin speculation in the [[Warhammer 40,000]] fan community. For more details on this whole issue, please refer to the Blood Ravens article. Arvida's contribution is principally related to the image of a non-Chaos aligned Thousand Son deciding to discover the true causes of his legion's destruction and combat the forces behind it, uttering the phrase 'Knowledge is power" while wearing red armour emblazoned with the insignia of a raven. The phrase, armour colour and raven badge are all tropes of the Blood Ravens.
