It is a formidable world, known for its [[plasma weapon]]s and vehicles mounted with them, such as the feared [[Leman Russ Executioner]] (which is no longer produced by any other Forge World){{Fn|1}}{{Fn|2b}} and the [[Stormblade]] [[Super Heavy Tank]] (which was first developed on Ryza).{{Fn|2c}} The Forge World is home to the [[Collegia Titanica]] [[Legio Crucius]] (Warmongers).{{Fn|2a}} The world had been attacked by not one but two of the [[Ork]] [[Waaagh!]] - [[Waaagh! Grax]]{{Fn|3a}} and [[Waaagh! Rarguts]].{{Fn|6}} As of late [[M41]], the [[Battle of Ryza]] is still ongoing.{{Fn|5}}
