A '''Missionary''' is tasked with spreading the word of the [[Imperial Creed]] to the [[Imperium]]. They have little guidance from the [[Adeptus Ministorum]] and are mainly free to go and do as they wish.
Members range from the young fervent hopefuls to the ancientold, wise , and toughened members of the [[Missionarus Galaxia]]. They are always at the forefront of Imperial expansion and accompany the crusading armies as they discover new worlds and contact lost civilisations.
They are armed usually with a basic [[Lasgun]], but may also take a [[Rosarius]] for extra protection. They are the strongest of the priesthood and count as an HQ choice. They may be fielded by any [[Imperial Guard]] or [[Sisters of Battle|Adepta Sororitas]] army, but not among [[Space Marines]].
