'''Gravius''' was a member of the [[Salamanders]] during the [[Great Crusade]] and [[Horus Heresy]]. After his ship was left derelict and abandoned during the Heresy, Gravius was left isolated for the next 10,000 years. In [[M41]], he was discovered by fellow Salamanders of the 3rd Company, who discovered Gravius alive, but in a horrifically withered and frail state. Gravius was killed as an act of mercy by the Salamanders, and at the time of his death he was possibly the oldest living Space Marine in the Galaxy.{{Fn|1}}
