'''{{PAGENAME}}s''' are intelligent ferocious birds, that are larger than a man and dwell on the '''Diagothian Mountains''' on [[Kiavahr]]. The Roc is a sacred animal to the [[Raven Guard ]] [[Chapter]] and its [[Chaplain]]s believe having its bones adorning their [[Power Armour]] allows them to carry its spirit with them into combat; as well as ensuring the Chaplains can properly guide their [[Battle Brother]]s into battle. A Chaplain who intends to hunt a Roc however, must do so in a ritual hunt, that many do not live to complete, as it involes involves several restrictions. The first involves climbing the deadly Diagothian Mountains, dressed only in a black-feathered loincloth – the ceremonial attire of the ritual hunt and the second, is slaying a Roc with only their bare hands. A Chaplain who completes the hunt, then has to climb back down the Mountains with the Roc's body and then journey to the [[Ravenspire]]; where they can begin placing its bones on their Power Armour.{{Fn|1}}
