Millennia later however{{Fn|1b}}, a large Khorne Warband has invaded the [[Imperium]] world [[Tarnis ]] in order to conduct a ritual there that would free {{PAGENAME}}and allow the Bloodthirster to ravage the galaxy once again{{Fn|1a}} and their first act was . The Warband has managed to destroy the [[Imperial Knight]]s of [[House Drakkus]], who resided on the world{{Fn|1b}}. After the House's destruction, the Warband began a ritual in order to breach {{PAGENAME}}'s seal which would allow stop the Bloodthirster to ravage Knights from interfering with the galaxy once again{{Fn|1a}}. The Warband has run into numerous obstacles that are preventing them from completing their goal however, as they ritual; but are now fighting against facing more obstacles in the form of the [[Waaagh!]] of [[Warboss]] [[Nekkruncha]]{{Fn|1c}} and a [[Dark Angels]]' strike force led by [[Space Marine Captain|Master]] [[Tigraine]]{{Fn|1d}}.
