Born on [[Colchis]] and originally commanding the 34th [[Company]], Talgron was a member of the [[Perpetual Spiral Chapter]]. Talgron was one of the few of the Word Bearers at the time who did not worship the [[Emperor]] as a god. On his [[Primarch]] [[Lorgar]]'s orders, Talgron led the massacre of the inhabitants of [[Forty-Seven Sixteen]]. Shortly after Talgron and the 34th Company were dispatched to [[Terra]] to commit acts of sabotage by Lorgar, who had since turned to [[Chaos]]. During his time on Terra, Talgron killed his past mentor and [[Crusader Host]] member [[Volkhar Wreth]]. Despite the embracing of the [[Ruinous Powers]] by his [[Dark Apostle]] [[Jarulek]], Talgron proved reluctant to give himself over the [[Warp]].{{Fn|1a}}
Talgron left Terra shortly after, commanding Word Bearer forces in the [[Shadow Crusade]] where he and Jarulek argued over the Dark Apostles attempt to sacrifice [[Ultramarines]] to [[Daemon]]s.{{Fn|1b}} During the [[Percepton Campaign]] Talgron was badly wounded. As Jarulek oversaw a dark ritual over the shattered Captains corpse, Talgron had a vision where he was pulled into the [[Warp]] and embraced by [[Lorgar]]'s light. He was subsequently revived as a part-bionic part-[[Warp]] powered abomination with a human face. After his resurrection, Talgron finally embraced the Ruinous Powers and became a [[Dark Apostle]]. {{Fn|1b}} He was badly wounded once more during the Heresy at the [[Battle of Terra]] and subsequently had his remains entombed in a [[Dreadnought]].{{Fn|1b}}
After the Heresy, Talgron became a feared [[Chaos Dreadnought]] known as '''The Warmonger'''. Due to his formidable mental power, he is the only Dreadnought on the Word Bearer Ship ''Infidus Diablous'' who had retained some of his sanity, though he often remembers The Siege while in the heat of battle.{{Fn|2}} He was killed during the [[Battle for Boros Prime]] when he attempted to kill The [[Undying One]], the [[Necron Lord]]'s death explosion killing the already wounded Warmonger.{{Fn|3}} His shell was later inhabited by [[Burias Drak'Shal]].{{Fn|3}}{{Fn|4}}
