A Soul Stone is a precious gem that acts like a 'psychic trap' and seals within it the soul of the creature it is attuned to. It is used by the #REDIRECT [[Eldar]] to save their souls from being devoured by [[Slaanesh]], She Who Thirsts. Upon death, the Eldars soul is released into the soul stone where it can be collected and placed in the [[Infinity Circuit]] of the [[Craftworld]] of the warrior allowing their soul to flow through the craftworld, giving power to the wraithbone and to mix with the spirts of ancestors and descendants. It is believed that when enough souls have been placed within the infinity circuits of the craftworlds, the Eldar God Of The Dead, [[Y'nnead]], Will vanquish She Who thirsts ([[Slaanesh]]) and the Eldar will be able to live without fear of their souls being consumed by the warp, leaving them an eternity of torment at the hands of [[Daemons]]. Soul Stones are also used to power weaponary and vehicles, the soul of a particularly good pilot for example, makes a good advisor to a captain of a ship as the soul is part of the ship. Craftworld [[Iyanden]] uses this to replenish their armies by placing the soul stones of fallen warriors in [[wraithlords]] and [[wraithguard]]. this practice is akin to graverobbing and is scorned by many, but the craftworld has little choice, given that its population is the lowest of all the craftworlds following an attack by [[Tyranids]].
