Tanith Magna was the seat of the planetary governer; The Elector, as well as being the central point of Imperial Bureaucracy on the planet.
[[Colm Corbec]], [[Hlaine Larkin]] and [[Forgal]] all originated from the Tanith Magna Militia.
===History===
During [[The Circudus Offensive]] and the [[Fall of Tanith]], Tanith Magna was razed to the ground.
Orbital bombardment from the Chaos Armada leveled the majority of the population centers, while shock troops were deployed to prevent the escape of any important Imperial personnel left alive. During this fight, the Tanith 2nd and 3rd were destroyed, the survivors being reformed into the [[Tanith First and Only]].
