The Circudus Offensive was a large scale offensive made during the period of [[The Cabal Salient]] during the [[Sabbat Worlds Crusade]] between 765 and 773 of M41.
After the Battle of Balhaut in 765, [[Warmaster Macaroth]] pushed forwards, leaving many worlds undefended. An A Chaoes armada took advantage of this, using razed earth tactics to destroy six worlds in the unguarded flank; including the famous forest world of [[Tanith]].
The armada was eventually turned away after a 36 hour naval battle near [[The Circudus]] which is what gives the offensive its name.
