They are effective against [[Orks ]] and other [[xenos ]] with natural regeneration and are only rarely deployed due to the collateral environmental damage it causes. They are used solely by the [[Deathwatch ]] to cleanse particularly resilient xenos and effective in controlling and eradicating Ork infestations.{{Fn|1}}
