In 721.[[M41]] he led a mixed strike force, drawn from his own and several other Chapters, against the [[Eldar Corsair]] raiding the [[Mining World]] [[Volyn]]. At the height of the successful campaign, Iscon cornered and slayed the [[Corsair Prince]] [[Nhilus|Nhilus the Ardent]] in an epic duel that has since become a legend in his Chapter.{{Fn|1}}
