Abyssus Edax was originally built for the [[Legio Perennia]], on [[Bronta-Median]], during the [[Horus Heresy]]. Together with other Titans from Battle Group Astramax , the Abyssus Edax was to be transported, aboard the freighter [[Omnissiax]], to [[Terra]] , in order to strengthen the planet's defenses. During transportthough, the ship was redirected to the planet [[Callistra Mundi]], and ambushed by the Alpha Legion. A Titan crew from the ranks of the Alpha Legion 's [[Sparatoi ]] then captured the Abyssus Edax for the forces of [[Chaos]]. The and the Titan was then soon deployed by the Alpha Legion to aid in the conquest of Callistra Mundi. {{Fn|1}}
