In 750.M41 the Red Wolves fought [[Chaos Space Marines]] of the [[Night Lords]] [[Space Marine Legion|Legion]] in the [[Ango]] [[sub-sector]]. Although they stood alone, the Red Wolves were able to prevent the Night Lords capturing the possessed cruiser [[Shadeblight]].{{Fn|2b2}}

The Chapter deployed in full strength during the [[Fourth Quadrant Rebellion]], playing a crucial role in crushing the insurrection.{{Fn|3}}
===Indomitus Crusade===
In the aftermath of the [[Great Rift]]'s creation, the Chapter is reinforced by [[Primaris Space Marines]], sent to them by the [[Indomitus Crusade]]. The Red Wolves then continue to fight the Imperium's enemies, until their Homeworld, [[Bloodfall]], is invaded by a splinter of [[Hive Fleet]] [[Leviathan]]. This splinter had been involved in the [[Octavius War]] however and the [[Ork]] fed Tyranids inflicted horrific losses to the Chapter, before shattering their [[Fortress Monastery]]. The Red Wolves were now forced to retreat and after securing vital stocks of their [[Gene-seed]], they evacuate from Bloodfall in their remaining Battle Barges.{{Fn|4}}
