Several Space Marine forces have been deemed ''Excommunicate'', such as the [[Traitor Legions]],{{Fn|1}} the [[Flame Falcons]], the [[Relictors]] and the [[Soul Drinkers]]{{Fn|2}}. They are also known as [[Renegade Space Marine]]s. This fate may also befall individuals whom commit similar acts of heresy.{{Fn|3}}
