PAGENAME is a Human world.

History
During the Age of Strife, Piamen fell under the cruel occupation of the Dark Eldar but an uprising by the human population managed to drive them off-world. As a result, the Piameni had a strong independent streak and felt no outsider should rule them. Sometime after, Imperial officials on the Great Crusade arrived and the Piameni rejected their demands to assimilate into the growing Imperium. The Piameni prepared for war, but were not prepared for what the Emperor sent: the Night Lords under Konrad Curze himself.1

Curze struck at the Piameni fleet and boarded their flagship with 100 Space Marines. The Piameni Triarii warriors were no match for even this smaller force of Astartes, and were utterly crushed. The bridge was captured and transformed into a charnel house of gore and mutilation as the Night Lords flayed the crew and hung them from hooks on orders from Curze. Curze next gathered all 150,000 crew of the flagship, entered low orbit over Piamen, and dropped their flayed corpses from the sky for the masses to see. The act drove Piamen into blind terror and the world as well as its satellite realms fell without more violence being necessary.1
