The '''Dominion Class Battlecruiser''' is a [[Battle Cruiser]] class of the [[Imperial Navy]]. ==Overview==The class was envisioned as a modern replacement for the [[Mars Class Battle Cruiser|Mars Class]] design optimized to carry large amounts of [[Attack Craft]] by the fleetlords of [[Bakka]] while also having [[Lance]] batteries to satisfy the "big-gun" lobby. However the class faired poorly in smaller engagements and raids and overall suffered from many of the weaknesses of the [[Gothic Class Cruiser]]. After several craft were lost, the Imperial Navy halted orders for the class after ten hulls were constructed.{{Fn|1}}
Despite their shortcomings, the vessels performed better during the [[Battle for Macragge]] against the [[Tyranid]]s where they served as fleet support ships.{{Fn|1}}
