The '''Cult of Sollex''' is the name of a faction within the [[Adeptus Mechanicus]], consisting of weapon mystics that operate on the minor [[Forge World]] of [[Haddrack]], located in the [[Drusus Marches]] of the [[Calixis Sector]]. Since its creation, this sect has grown beyond their homeworld and possesses many adherents within the [[Tech Priests]] of [[Battlefleet Calixis]] as well as the [[Magos]] Militant of [[The Lathes]]. The followers of the Cult of Sollex are dedicated to the arts of war and destruction; thus they study the mysteries of [[laser]]s as well as photons.{{Fn|1}}
This sect sought great wisdom and knowledge from the spectrum of light. Their specialization in that field meant that they are able to produce remarkable holographic images and advanced weaponry. The aims of the Cult of Sollex are both esoteric and hidden from the rest of the Cult Mechanicus. Members of this sect are seen as fanatical even by their comrades' standards and are seen as being almost inhuman in their actions. Their devotion to the dogma of the [[Cult Mechanicus]] means that they are unforgiving of those who blaspheme against the [[Machine God]]. These talents for warfare, experience against aliens, and with different types of arms means that they are an attractive recruit for an [[Inquisitorial retinue]].{{Fn|1}}
