The Rusthounds were originally a force of Knights from [[House Krast]] which fought the [[Death Guard]] warband [[Pallid Hand]] on [[Chambakh]]. Shrugging offsalvo after salvo of [[Blight Launcher]] rounds,the Knights defeated the Death Guard andclaimed victory. Yet in doing so their steedsare infected with [[Ferric Blight]]. Whatemerged from that war zone wasa warband of Renegade Knights rustedthrough in body and soul and [[Throne Mechanicum]]s taintedbeyond recovery. Renaming themselvesthe Rusthounds, the Knights set off on thehunt for their former allies’ souls.{{Fn|1}}
