==Overview==
Acting as [[First Captain]] of the [[Chapter]] aboard the [[Battle Barge]] ''[[Dantalion]]'', during the war he was forced to align himself with [[Warsmith]] [[Kalkator]] in order to fend off a massive [[Ork]] fleet. Upon meeting up with [[Tempestus Scion]]s who attempted to fire on his reluctant [[Iron Warriors]] allies, Zerberyn was forced to kill his [[Human]] allies, seemingly condemning himself further to damnation.{{Fn|1}}
He was later seen in the [[Immitis System]] fighting Ork forces alongside the Iron Warriors. After his confidant [[Mandek]] died, Zerberyn began to lose his last remaining doubts over the heresy of their actions.{{Fn|2}} Zerberyn next appeared alongside his Iron Warriors allies in an attempt to acquire an [[Astropath]]ic station. After the [[Inquisition]] discovered they were working alongside [[Chaos Space Marine]]s, a battle broke out.{{Fn|3}}
