The novella was originally published as a A5 hardback novella, wrapped in faux salamander skin. Only three thousand copies of this collectors’ edition novella were printed, and was republished in June 2013. It was included as part of the "Nine Loyal Primarchs" set for 2016 12 Days of Christmas: Day 9.
