The Warband's fortresses later came under attack by the [[Imperial Guard]] and the [[Angels Vermillion]] [[Chapter]], but they both easily withstood anything that was thrown at them. It was only when the Angels Vermillion's [[Death Company]] broke through both fortress's defenses, that the Immortal Legion were finally defeated by the [[Space Marine]] Chapter.{{Fn|1}}
