Led by their [[Chapter Master]] [[Logan Grimnar]], the Space Wolves had tracked down Magnus in order to claim their revenge for the Daemon Primarch's, [[Siege of the Fenris System|invasion of their Homeworld]] [[Fenris]]. In the fierce battle that followed, Morkaisson was killed by an [[Exalted Sorcerer]], though the Space Wolves would emerge victorious and destroyed the Thousand Sons.{{Fn|1}}
