An '''Assassin''' is a contract-killer, someone who specialises in killing a person, or several persons, in a covert way. They may be sent undercover to infiltrate an enemy command centre and kill an officer, destroy a special objective, or perform some other similar task that a conventional army would have to suffer many losses to achieve. The [[High Lords of Terra]], rulers and administrators of the [[Imperium]], have a special division the [[Officio Assassinorum]], aka Office of Assassins, to deal with such matters. The [[Dark Eldar]] have the [[Mandrake]]s.
