In [[Human]] societies, the Biophagus is often found posing as medical staff, where they can infect new victims with genetic concoctions they have created, which leave the Biophagus' victims more susceptible to their Cult's subtle influences. When their Cult goes to war, the Biophagus is accompanied by a an [[Genestealer Familiar|Alchemicus Familiar]] and is protected by a bodyguard of [[Aberrant]]s. These Aberrants will find themselves acting as test subjects for the Biophagus, which likes to experiment on them with an assortment of biological cocktails, that will enhance their abilities. While the Biophagus is no front-line fighter, they are more than able to defend themselves, as their [[injector goad]]s are filled with toxins that are lethal to all, but the most hardiest of foes.{{Fn|1}}
