It is said that the Eldar Farseer known as the Voidsinger isimpossibly ancient, even amongst a species known to be all butimmortal. Erandel has battled the enemies of the Eldar acrosscountless thousands of worlds across the entire [[galaxy]], from theboiling galactic core to the silent, night-haunted Halo Worldsand beyond. She is said to have witnessed sights that would blastthe sanity of even the most strong-willed of her peers, and tohave conversed with beings of such utterly alien consciousnessthat they barely comprehend the existence of even the highminded Eldar. It is said that the Voidsinger was there whenthe [[The Fall|Eldar fell]], and that she foresaw the rise of the [[Imperium]]of Man. Certain lines in the few Eldar mythic cycles known tohuman savants even suggest she has trodden the sacred groundof Holy [[Terra]], though none who have ascertained this factwould dare propagate it, for fear of being burned upon thepyres of the [[Ordo Hereticus]]. Most of these tales are in fact true,while countless more unbelievable truths are yet untold.{{Fn|1}}

Throughout her impossibly long life, Erandel Voidsingerhas fought alongside countless species and served in thewar hosts of every one of the major Eldar craftworlds. Shehas watched from the bridge of [[corsair]] flagships as worldshave burned, tasted the pristine waters of untouchedmaiden worlds, and passed through the bone-strewnsub-realities of the Dark City of [[Commorragh]].She has witnessed the great dance of theHarlequins more times thanany other daughterof her craftworld, andshared counsel with atleast one of the mysteriousSolitaires. Some say shehas leave to come and go atwill from the [[Black Library]] atthe very heart of the [[webway]],the terrible guardian of that fellplace barely stirring at her passing.Little wonder then, that ErandelVoidsinger should serve as therepresentative not just of CraftworldKaelor, but of all Eldar craftworlds, onthe Conclave of Tears.{{Fn|1}}

An impossibly wise, sagely individual whospeaks only to utter the most profound oftruths, Erandel Voidsinger is, unknown toall but herself, approaching the end ofher service to her species. As a Farseer,and therefore a prognosticator ofunmatched skill, she knows well thatthe multitudinous threads of herown fate are weaving together asher ultimate end approaches. As yet,Erandel has not been able to scry the exact circumstancesof her death, but she has followed the brightest strands to theJericho Reach, and knows that it must be soon. For several decades,Erandel has heard the call of the crystal glades at the heart of hercraftworld, wherein stand those of her predecessors who havebecome one with their home, transformed, as is their fate, intostatues of solidified soul energy. In following the strands of her fate to the Jericho Reach, Erandel is defying a preordained endthat would see her take her place in those serene glades, choosingdeath over such an end{{Fn|1}}

Beneath her Farseer’s raiment, Erandel Voidsinger’s flesh isalready transforming into crystal. Yet, the strand of fate thatwould lead her back to her craftworld to the crystal gladesgrows weaker with each passing day, while that which leadstowards the Outer Reach grows stronger. That path is as yetconvoluted and winding, and its ultimate destination unseen,yet Erandel follows it willingly.{{Fn|1}}

Erandel Voidsinger’s role within the Conclave of Tears is unclearto those few of the Dead Cabal who know of her involvement inits activities, yet knowing what they do of Farseers, it can only beto scry the future and to guide the deeds of this small band. It isupon the Voidsinger’s counsel that most of the Conclave’s missionsare launched, the fates themselves realigned with each endeavorit undertakes. Though many of these missions see the agents of theConclave deployed in battle against the lesser races, many are farmore esoteric in nature. On occasion, the Farseer has seen that aspecific object must be recovered, or a seemingly innocuous eventprevented at all costs. In many cases the ultimate effect of each ofthese actions is unknown even to Erandel, yet their importance isclearly indicated by her reading of the runes.{{Fn|1}}

Of late, the Voidsingerhas become aware of anumber of factions or powersworking against her in the [[Jericho Reach]], though she has yet to fully ascertainwho or what these represent. Each is exerting its owninfluence upon the strands of fate converging inthe depths of the Outer Reach, ripping someasunder and reshaping others according tonumerous and unpredictable wills. Inaddition to these, the proximity ofthe vast lesion on spaceand time known tohumanity as the [[Hadex Anomaly]] distorts thefates of almost everymortal being beneath itsbaleful glare. Even as Erandelresists the transmogrification ofher body into a crystal statuewith nothing but the sheerforce of her indomitablewill, the strands growever more intertwinedand unreadable evenas they converge onsome as yet unseenworld within theOuter Reach.
