PAGENAMEMoefranc was a Word Bearers Chaos Lord, who took part in the Battle of Calth and survived the Horus Heresy to continue to plague the Imperium.
History
In the time since, PAGENAME Moefranc and the forces at his command had destroyed hundreds of worlds and enslaved billions of Humans. In late M41 however, PAGENAME Moefranc focused his wrath on the Space Wolves Chapter, after having grown tired of their constant interference with his attacks on the Imperium, and the Chaos Lord began a campaign to destroy the Chapter, which led to the deaths of nearly a hundred Space Wolves; including the Wolf Lord Hrothgar. Eventually the Chaos Lord's fleet arrived at the Space Wolves' Homeworld, with four hundred Word Bearers and at least two hundred thousand Cultists at his command, while only the Great Company of the Wolf Lord Sven Bloodhowl was present to defend Fenris.
Worse still, Bloodhowl had taken the majority of his Great Company to hunt the beasts of Fenris, so when PAGENAME Moefranc broadcasted his threat to bombard The Fang from orbit, the Wolf Lord was not there to defend it. Instead, it fell to the Blood Claw Lukas the Trickster, the most senior member present at The Fang, to answer PAGENAMEMoefranc's broadcast and he did so by calling PAGENAME Moefranc a craven coward, who was afraid to fight them fairly. The Chaos Lord was incensed by these insults and demanded to duel Lukas to the death, in order to prove his superiority to the Space Wolves. Lukas agreed and sent the coordinates to where the duel would take place and PAGENAME Moefranc and hundreds of his Word Bearers immediately descended to Fenris. However, Lukas had lived up to his reputation as a trickster, and had sent the Chaos Lord and his forces to land on the thin ice covering the Sea of Lost Souls. As PAGENAME Moefranc waited for Lukas to appear1, the ice covering the Sea began to crack open, due to the Word Bearers' weight, and the Chaos Lord and his forces, soon fell to their watery deaths.2
