In the [[Tyranid#Planetary Assimilation|assimilation]] of Hamman's World, the Scythed Hierodule was in the Vanguard of the [[Tyranid]] forces beside masses of [[Gaunts]]. They were especially effective against prepared defenses, such as bunkers. <br>
