The Iron Hands suspect that it guardsa hidden passage through the [[Cicatrix Maledictum]], the Great Rift that separates[[Medusa]] and the galactic north from thelight of the [[Astronomican]]. In rotatingshifts, the Iron Hands Clan-Companies bring their armoredmight to bear, besieging the fortressesthat guard an unusual gateway built intothe mountainsides. With no defense ableto withstand the pressures exerted by therelentless Iron Hands for long, the heretics’fortifications fall and their lines break.
