The first wave, led by King [[Dontros]], scales scaled oneflank of the ''Spite'', only to find its upper reaches infested by [[Heldrake]]s. The Knights fight fought bravely, but the [[Daemon Engines]] attack attacked in overwhelming numbers and rip apart ripped the Knightsapart.{{Fn|1a}}

The second wave, attacking some weeks later, is was confronted by the corrupted remnants of their former comrades. The Lord of the ''Merciless Spite'', Admiral [[Vaen]], has had replaced each of the pilots with one of his own lieutenants.
