Changes

Uriel was inducted into the Ultramarines, shortly after the battle on [[Tarsis Ultra]], when the 4th Company needed to rebuild its numbers. One of the final trials for [[Aspirant]]s to the Ultramarines was a bare-footed race over the [[Crown Mountains]] to the [[Fortress of Hera]] on [[Macragge]]. Uriel was in the lead, but held back to help his friend, [[Janek Lycean]], who had dropped to his knees from wounds and exhaustion. [[Space Marine Sergeant|Sergeant]] [[Learchus|Learchus Abantes]], Acting-[[Space Marine Captain|Captain]] of the 4th, was impressed, announcing that what he wanted most from his new recruits were brothers who preferred to stand together rather than reach for victory.{{Fn|1a}}

Both Uriel and Janek were inducted into the 4th as [[Scout]]s. They took part in the 4th's campaign on [[Espandor]] against an invading [[Ork]] [[Waaagh!]]{{Fn|1b}} During the defense of [[Herapolis]], they fought on the ground level, defending the breach in the walls{{Fn|1c}}.

They later joined Scout Sergeant [[Issam]]'s squad in its reconnaissance of [[Tarentus]], during the [[Invasion of Ultramar]].{{Fn|2}}
