== Biography==
Whilst engaging in his mission, his [[Thunderhawk]] gunship was shot down by [[Chaos Space Marines]]. Only Varnus and a handful of his troops survived who held off waves of [[Chaos]] hordes as well as sent a distress signal that was received by [[General]] [[Sturnn]] of the [[Imperial Guard]]. These reinforcements managed to conduct a search and rescue mission behind enemy lines that succeeded in saving Varnus.
One of the noted accomplishments of Chaplain Varnus was his single handedly slaying a [[Bloodthirster]] [[Daemon]] in combat.
