Victus is the closest planet to the system star. It is a scorched ball of rock. Due to proximity to the sun, there is a high level of radiation and heat on the planet. Curiously, some strange ruins are visible on the surface. Due to unbearable conditions on Victus, [[Vir Modren]] and his xenoarchaeographers have, so far, refrained from research of the ruins.{{Fn|1}}
