Shortly after the [[Gothic War]], the ''Righteous Protector '' was lost in the [[Warp]] and later emerged in the war torn [[Cadia Cadian Sector]], sometime after the [[Great Rift]]'s creation. Despite the vast amount of time that had passed, Spire's sense of duty to the Imperium asserted itself and he called the disarrayed Imperial forces in the [[Sector]], to his position. Soon the ''Righteous Protector '' became the flagship of Spire's new fleet and under his command the campaign to reclaim the Cadian Sector began.{{Fn|1}}
