Until sometime within the last millennia, Asperity Each outpost was shrouded in guarded by a violentmilitia, but localized they were no match for the [[Ork]] forces of [[Warboss]] [[Warp StormMordak]]when they invaded the planet. When Mordak planned to use the storm finally abated surveyors ravaging of Asperity, as a staging point to draw Orks from across the Corribra Sector to his banner and launch his own [[Waaagh!]], that would engulf the Sector. As the Orks began to attack the mining outposts on Asperity, [[Rapid Strike Vessels]] of the [[ImperiumFlesh Tearers]] [[Chapter]], found which had been secretly tracking Mordak's fleet for sometime, gave a signal to a barren planet seemingly devoid nearby [[Strike Cruiser]]. On board was the entire [[First Company]] of all life the Flesh Tearers, which deployed onto Asperity and constantly covered in fierce stormsfell upon the unsuspecting Orks.
