However, before the Tyranids of Scitalis could reach the Vermidium, the [[Death Guard]]'s 6th Plague Company appeared and attacked the Hive Fleet. They have since launched strikes against Scitalis' [[Synapse]] beasts and have caused the Hive Fleet's advance to slow and scatter across a dozen [[System]]s.{{Fn|1}}
