In 876.[[M41]], the Legion was almost entirely destroyed by the [[Cadian 423rd]] under [[Knight Commander]] [[Pask]] in the largest armoured battle fought by the Imperium since the [[Battle of Tallarn]]. In the vicious battle, the Imperium lost nearly 8,000 tanks and 35 [[Super Heavy Tank]]s.{{Fn|2}}
