The '''''Dark Sovereign''''' was a powerful and ancient warship of the [[Dark Angels]] during the [[Great Crusade]] and [[Horus Heresy]]. Dating back to the [[Dark Age of Technology]], this black [[Cruiser]]-class vessel was recovered by the [[Emperor]] himself when it was discovered frozen over [[Wikipedia:Ganymede (moon)|Ganymede]] early in the [[Great Crusade]]. This vessel fought at the head of a Dark Angels task force in the [[Xana Incursion]] during the Heresy.{{Fn|1}}
