DISCUSSION: Related Videos Section for Articles
* Related products might be a good way to add these. For example trailers of game could be added to the corresponding page, like adding the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHh1TxryWlw Vampire Coast trailer] to the Vampire Coast page in the lexicanum.
:I agree that we should add this and continue modernizing the lexis.--[[User:Ashendant|Ashendant]] ([[User talk:Ashendant|talk]]) 17:18, 16 May 2019 (MDT)

:: I agree with Ashendant that the small character videos would be fantastic to add to character topic pages. In theory as they are professionally produced and voice acted by the manufacturer they could be considered canon representations of the character in question. We however cannot self-host youtube videos on 3rd party websites for storage and legal reasons, so we have embed the YouTube ones. I will get our developer to install that [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:EmbedVideo EmbedVideo]extension to the wiki in the next week so we can experiment with it to see how we like it.

:: While we are getting that done, let's continue the conversation of how the admins want to write out user guidelines, section headings, and documentation on how to use this new "Related Videos" section in article pages. While I want to move Lexicanum into referencing approved video, I want to roll it out to users as a complete package - so they know what our standards are and exactly what is allowed and what isn't. We will probably have to add some examples to some popular pages we can use as examples - and reference them in any document templates.
