The Strike Cruiser]]has been heavily modified in its generations of service and now sports additional hull space, armour, which sometime weapons and fighter bays{{Fn|1a}}. Sometime after the [[Great Rift]]'s creation, the Hex was sent with a small Chapter fleet to intercept a ship that was discovered to be approaching the [[Chapter]]Emperor's Spear's Homeworld, [[Nemeton]]. When the ship finally entered Nemeton's [[System]], it was discovered to be the [[Mentors]]'s [[Sword Frigate]] [[In Devout Abjuration]], which the Hex and its fleet forcibly escorted to their Homeworld.{{Fn|11b}}
