The 8th Company of the [[Space Wolves|VIth Legion]] (then not under the leadership of [[Leman Russ (Primarch)|Leman Russ]]) was dispatched to put down the rebellions. However , due to the poor discipline of the early VIth Legion, what began as a surgical strike against the renegade [[Planetary Governor|governor]] rapidly degenerated into a massacre against the planetary population. In Molor's capital , the VIth Legion's [[Space MarineMarines]]s massacred all they encountered, to the extend that the industrial capacity of the planet was put at risk.
