'''Bararat the Tunnel World''' is an [[Imperial]] world where the fortress of a long-dead [[Xenos]] culture was recently discovered.{{Fn|1}} A force of [[Space Marines]] have been were sent to investigate the fortress, unaware that it is now home to a large underground community of primitive nocturnal [[Human]]s. To make matters worse, deserters from Bararat's [[Imperial Guard]] garrison have camped in the fortress not realizing that the primitives live under it. Night falls fell on Bararat, when the Space Marines approach approached the fortress, just as the nocturnal primitives begin to leave their tunnels and the deserters suddenly realized that they have had been discovered.
